SMEEAC - Small to Medium Enterprise Energy Efficiency Advice Centre (Archived Project)
The Carbon Trust has launched a new service called Action Energy to give energy advice to businesses. In partnership with the Energy Saving Trust , 12 SME Energy Efficiency Advice Centres have been set up to give Action Energy advice to SMEs, providing free energy audits, visits and advice.
Businesses will be encouraged to call the Action Energy Helpline (0800 585 794). Depending upon the size of their annual energy bills, they will either be given free consultancy direct, or they will be referred to their regional SME Energy Advice Centre.
SMEs will also be directed towards the new interest free loans that the Action Energy are making available through this service. (see below)
